Because I write for Harlequin's wonderful Love Inspired Historical line, I like to promote my fellow LIH authors. We write inspiring stories of faith, adventure, and romance that women anywhere can enjoy. Our books are sent out to LIH book club members, which has recently changed its program. Now readers receive four books per month. How exciting is that?! However, in the changeover months, January and February, some authors' books are available only through stores such as Walmart and online through eHarlequin.com. The titles listed below with their gorgeous covers and author bios are delightful stories that you will enjoy. Take a look and run right out to get your copy. You won't be disappointed! Oh, and by the way, if you leave a comment, I'll enter you in a March 1 drawing whose winner will receive a package of LIH books! See details at the bottom of this post.

THE OUTLAW'S RETURN. A rogue's redemption? J.T. Quinn would know Mary Larue's beautiful voice anywhere. He just never expected to hear her singing in a Denver church. The gunslinger comes to town to reunite with the only woman he's ever loved . . . but the actress he left behind two years ago is gone. In her place is a deeply Christian woman with a successful restaurant, the town's respect and a pair of younger siblings in her care. J.T. doubts he'll ever be worthy of Mary again, but he can protect her and her siblings from the threats of a local ne-er-do-well. And with courage and faith, perhaps even an outlaw can find redemption . . . and love.

Victoria Bylin is a 2010 ACFW Carol Award finalist, and her western romances have finaled in the RWA Rita Awards, the Holt Medallion, the National Readers Choice Awards and the Booksellers’ Best Awards. Vicki really does believe in “happily ever after.” She and her husband have been married forever and have two grown sons. Both are college students who occasionally return to Lexington, Kentucky for home-cooked meals. To find out more about Vicki, please visit her website: www.victoriabylin.com

THE BLACKMAILED BRIDE. The despicable Baron Finley is the last man Lady Olivia Fairfax would want as her husband, but what choice does she have? He holds the secret to a family scandal, and she must bow to his blackmail or see herself and her brother publicly disgraced. Steeling her resolve—and shielding her heart—Olivia is prepared to do her duty to her family…until Nicholas Stuart, the Marquess of Huntsford, complicates her plans. Nick is brave, honorable, infuriatingly attractive and unshakably determined to protect Olivia—even from herself. He won't let Olivia sacrifice her happiness for any price. Instead, he'll teach her to follow her heart…and pray that it leads her straight to him.

The Blackmailed Bride's author Mandy Goff resides in Greenville, SC, with her husband and three-year-old daughter. When she is not doing laundry or scouring the house for her daughter’s once-again-missing “Pup-pup," she enjoys reading good books and finding creative ways to get out of cooking. The Blackmailed Bride is her first novel.

RESCUING THE HEIRESS: As a San Francisco firefighter, Michael Mahoney has never seen anything burn more brightly than the determination in socialite Tess Clark's eyes. Her fiery green gaze and the persuasive curve of her smile convince him to support her involvement in the women's suffrage movement. His unspoken, forbidden love for the privileged young woman drives him to be her only protector as the earth begins to quake and the city catches fire. Now, in the midst of panic, corruption and disaster, Michael's survival is uncertain, yet his faith in God and love for Tess are stronger than ever. Will he have the chance to show Tess that love can't be contained by social binds?

Valerie Hansen, author of Rescuing the Heiress, was thirty when she became a Christian. She’s married to her high school sweetheart and loves to hike the wooded hills of the Ozarks, reflecting on the blessings of getting to share her personal faith by telling the stories of her heart for Love Inspired.

Hi Louise! Thank you so much for highlighting the February books. We've got awesome covers, don't we? One of the things personally enjoy about the LIH is the variety of time periods. You know about that!

Dear Louise, Thank you for promoting the LIH books and authors! The stories are SO good! I just finished Patchwork Bride by Jillian Hart and now I want to read the entire series. I also loved Heartland Wedding by Renee' Ryan. I am church librarian at Grace Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg Florida and we collect all the LI, LIS, and LIH books we can get our hands on. I try to promote them online too, because they are so Christian and wholesome. I hope you will pick Grace Lutheran Church library to win a box of LIH books!
God bless you for holding this contest and promoting these great books!
